hi everyone, May is out and so is all that heat thank goodness!

We had a respectable month in the shop with steady sales and 2 shows to make life interesting.

I think the holiday season is in full chat as online sales have reduced a little, it could also be that folk are reducing their spending as the cost of living gets harder.

Total turn over for May was £948.80, comprising £641.00 shop sales, and £307.80 club clothing sales at Ruddington. After fees and postage deduction, £871.30 was sent to the bank..

We have an order for some CNC brass spares on order with David Frith so look forward to those in due course.

Back in January two new discussions were started.

Hello All,

As whispered at SVR and Ruddington we have been asked to exhibit at the special event above organised by Wabtec and Doncaster Council. It was a well kept secret until very recently. The final arrangements are still being made but up to now setup is planned for Thursday 18th June, we will then exhibit at a short day on Friday (times to be decided) and a full day on Saturday 10am until 6pm, setdown will be after this.

We will be one of the attractions/entertainments and unlike usual events we will have no shop and will be limited to one trestle table for servicing & demonstration purposes.

I do now have a sufficient team for this event. I will send further details when I get them.

We will use the usual Premier Inn at Lakeside, Doncaster.

This event will not be advertised on the Club website.

Hello everone,,,April was a quieter month in the shop and with no shows to attend,, I almost fell asleep!!!

Total turnover for the shop was a modest £354.33 including a £100 loco deposit taken for Nigel. After fees and shipping/packing costs £283.95 was sent to the bank.

The Live drive kits (30) arrived latre in the month from David and Tammy and so I have my work cut out to prepare them for sale. I will be bringing back 20 kits as a Deluxe variant as these were a firm favourite on the last batch.

The remainder will be standard DIY kits. Prices will remain the same as before.

I am expecting some tool kits and extention leads in due course from Andrew if he can fit production into his already busy schedule.

This weekend we are at a new venue at Ruddington with a fully stocked shop so lets…

As discussed when voting on new shirts there is a one off set up fee for the logo to be set up. The shirt order has now been paid for and is the items are being made for us. The turnaround is 2-3 days and I am collecting them in person, hence we should get them for Ruddington.

This can either be paid directly to me or netted against my payment for my club shirts.
