Prospective Purchase
Following a relatively quiet period, in the past week we have been approached with 3 offers to purchase collections. I have detailed them below including the total costs to the Club if the sellers accept the pricing
Collection 1 - All used locos with boxes but no accessories
Dwight, Seagull, Silver Link, Mallard (loco only) Proposed cost £910
Collection 2 - All boxed and unused
Golden Fleece, FS, Mallard Set, Controllers Proposed cost £1115
Collection 3 - All in original and unopened delivery boxes - 2 of each
Golden Fleece, DDE, Seagull, Silver Link, Papyrus, FS, Mallard Set, plus one rolling road
Proposed Cost £6290
Do I have committee approval to proceed please ?

Would it make sense for the committee to give Nigel a spend limit that doesn't need approval (and therefore won't incur delays) ? Maybe £10k ? Obviously Eric could suspend or adjust the limit as finances dictate.
