Club shop report February 2021
Hi,, its me again!!!
Well February marks the ‘1year’ milepost since we all met at Doncaster back in Feb 2020 for our last meet-up before the Covid axman came wielding his axe.
We all very much long to meet up and I sincerely hope this will happen while we are all able to.
Anyhow, I digress,,,,,
February was good for the club with a shop turnover of £1477.45 and a net of £1205.13 sent to the bank after postage and fees accounted for.
This is pretty amazing considering the time of year and recovery from a rather low key Xmas ,,many of our patrons are from overseas and they support us very well alongside our homies!! We thank them all!!
Our stocks of club sourced items are looking good, sadly the same cannot be said of the Hornby items which are slowly becoming a mere vapour!
I have had to price match with market forces on the Hornby stock which has seen the prices rise considerably. This has had the desired effect (sic) of slowing sales of said stock. We will have to watch this space as regards to the remaining stock and its ‘priority status’ within the club as a whole.
With the imminency of club servicing becoming a reality we will need to allocate stock for that aspect of club activities so there iOS a little work to do in the coming week and months.
As usual, Reports are available in the usual place for your beady eyes!!!
