Club shop report August 2022
Well, i am now back from my Hols and the numbers are now in for August.
What a month!!!!!
We kicked off the month with our usual fantastic Summer meet held on the 6-7th at the home of Dave and Shelly wood in the rather splendid climes of Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire. The turn out was fantastic and trade was brisk to say the least. Must have been something in the hosts tea and coffee and splendid fair.
Total shop turnover for the month was £1612.25 which is unprecedented for August,,and total donations from the sales of items from the estate of our much missed Maurice Rourke on that weekend alone totalled £1716.00!!!! Well done to everyone who dug deep including our special guests Jenny Kirk and wife Zoe Who spent the most. They can come again!!!! It has clocked up nearly 30,000 views so I don’t think we can say we’ve had that many punters at shows since the clubs beginning, certainly the take up of new club members has been boosted and the popularity of OO Live Steam has gained a massive boost.
So,,,, total turnover for the month of August was a whacking £3,328.25 with £3,3313.33 sent to the bank after deductions etc.
