Club shop report July 2022
Well,,, July brings us mixed blessings….! While we have another healthy dollop of good fortune from the shop, we have lost one of our backbones of the club committee, our dear friend and steam comrade, Maurice Rourke. He brought his own kind of organisation and friendliness to our club back in 2014 and has helped shape the club into what we have today. RIP Maurice and may you always be thought of, as we enjoy our club which you helped immensely !!
July turnover was a healthy £624.49 with £529.50 sent to the bank after postage and fees deducted.
We have had another 20 Brass Rotary valve covers from David Frith and a small amount of special shouldered bolts which connect the con-rod to front and rear loco wheels on all locos.
Holiday season is now with us so we will do well to better our income in the following couple of months.
Maurice will be looking down and keeping a beady eye on our fun and games so lets have a drink for him at our next opportunity.
Reports in usual places.
Nick
