Club shop report April 2021
Ok, so April was a steady if not spectacular month sales wise. It seems there is a lul in live steam activity, maybe everyone is going back to work and have less time to play, who knows. I ,myself have been ultra busy hence the late report.
Gross turnover for the month was 574.30 with a net of 510.00 sent to the bank.
The t/o figure includes a 150-00 deposit for a limited edition loco from Maurice.
A sum of 55-00 was also sent to a company who is supplying us with a quantity of boiler thermal cutouts via Eric.
This month (May) I have launched the Tender Wheel Press/Refurb tool which will be a great item for those who wish to restore their tender wheel sets and save the dwindling stocks of original items.
I have also had a delivery of PTFE fine 28 swg wire and fibreglass sleeving for wiper board refurb work.
Also,,, we have had engineering samples of A3 and A4 main boards sent to Chris for evaluation from Dave Palmer, the man behind the Live Drive units. We have no idea of pricing at this point but it is a step in the right direction. We may be lucky and get a few A4 boards from ACModels but don’t hold your breath too long!
