Club shop report February 2023
Well thats February swept out of the way along with its weather hopefully, nevertheless, the club had a brill month in trading.
We started strongly in the first week with overseas sales underpinning the profit margins and the trend continued right through to our first outing of the year to the Doncaster BRM show.
The Doncaster event was a great success bringing the shop £404 over the two days, added to this was an income from Maurices Estate of £239 over the weekend. Thanks Maurice!!! There is very little left from the Chattels of Chiswick so we have been blessed with the kindness of dear Maurice In this regard.
The gross shop turnover for the month was £1895 with £1810 going to the bank after postage, fees and discounts were applied.
David Frith has sent me 10 sets of bronze loco axle bushings for those very worn out chassis that surface from time to time, and is now working on 20 new tool sets as we have sold all of the last batch of 20.
Harrogate next, and I fully expect a good turnout as it is both a Model railway show and an Engineering show rolled together to bring us lots of interest ,,,,and wallets!!! aaaaaaaand then its London at Ally Pally for more mayhem and madness!!!!
Thats all for now folks, good luck and stay safe!!!
see some of you soon,
Nick

Ha ha! I prefer Charles efforts myself!
