Club shop report May 2025
Hey guys, im sure somone has turned the time clock up a notch or two as the months seem to tear past and my memory cant keep up!!! Or maybe its just called getting old ha ha!!
May was a good month as May’s go for the club shop, we started with our trip to the Severn Vally Railway gig which was lovely to be back in familiar surroundings with old friends and colleagues, catching up on all things steamy!!! Ohh steady on there Nick!!! We took around the 500 quid mark over the weekend.
Total turnover for the month was a decent 1071.32 inc a Loco service charge of 173.50, after fees and postage, a handsome 977.41 was deposited at the bank.
We are running a bit flat on some items which are being looked at by the necessary producers.
One interesting Order came from a chap in Germany who paid in full for a rather large order (250+). He has saved a fortune in shipping and taxes etc by electing to collect his order when on a vacation to the UK later in October. I will be shipping his order to his UK hotel so he can stash it away in his luggage for repatriation to the fatherland ha ha. We really do have some smart thinkers in our midst!! Or should i say efficient!!!
I have had news of my impending surgury which clashes with a future show date so alas, I will not be at the next gig at the Bluebell Railway, those going will have a great time but will have to endure the local coffee but never fear,,, ill be back!!! Now do as auntie Val sais and you vont come to any harm!!!!
Im planning to be at the summer meet, so long as I'm in good shape so see you all then, cant miss the West Yorkshire charm!!!!
