Club shop report January 2022
Hi all,
Well,,, here we are,, head long into 2022, covid is hopefully dispersing into the ether, and we have a pleasant looking show calendar ahead. Sales are buoyant and our Hornby stock is now in a better position than of late. What could be better!!
Turnover for the month was £767.90 with £675.60 sent to the bank after fees and postage deducted.
The Hornby stock duly arrived from ACModelspares and has been added to the inventory boosting the overall ‘retail stock value’ to an eye watering £20,000+. Of course our ‘buy in value’ or ‘net value’ is a more manageable £11.900 for insurance and liability purposes.
David Frith has produced another batch of Rotary Valves which arrived a few weeks ago and seem to be finding homes all over the world.
Next weekend we will enjoy BRM at Doncaster once again so i will bring along a ‘Short Shop’ of basic spares as the supply is always greater than the demand at shows. So sensible stock is all thats needed.
We are in need of some more Wowstick units and TPM water meters so this will be looked into later in the month.
