Club shop report August 2024
Well arnt we having a great summer in the club,,,!!! Trips all over the place, great company and great food and drink, what more could we want!!!
Our summer meet was yet another success both in running trains, eating and drinking but shop sales were especially good. Burnham-on-Sea was also a nice weekend with new friends made.
The total turnover for the month was £756.82 with £652.02 going to the bank after postage and fees allowed for.
Our biggest mover at the moment is the Tender direct connection Lead, which puts pressure on the supply chain as we have lost (for the time being) our CNC engineering partnership with David Frith. (Definitely one of those “you never what you’ve got till it’s gone “ moment's.)
Currently, we have only 1 of our Deluxe tool sets in stock and no Timing Adjustment Rings, two items that are in hot demand most of the time.
We are hoping to find a new producer of all the various brass and Aluminium parts he made for us and i have had a new member shed some light on what his company can do if we have a chat at some point.
We have Statfold Barn next week to enjoy and that will be a wrap for shows for the 2024 season (unless we get a shout from any others and we can manage another shout.)
I am out of action for a week at the end of the month while i put my weiry feet up for a week in sunny Devon so we will enjoy ‘steamy titillation’ thereafter!!
Toodle pip!!!!
Nick
