Club shop report November 2024
Where is the time going!!!! This one slipped through the diary pages.!!
Well, things picked up nicely for November with a lot of support from abroad. Customers from Texas, Australia, Seattle, Germany to name a few! Plus an awakening of some of our local steam delinquents so were good to go!
Our turn over for the month was 1152.65 with 988-39 sent to the bank after fees, committee discounts and postage applied.
We have the good news that our Engineer David Frith along with son is able to help us out with some rare and much needed parts although at a reduced rate of production due to circumstances. We did get a small quantity of parts through but only what was in stock with David ans so we wil patiently await new bits and bobs.
We are approaching year end and annual report time so a mass count up will be under way to enable an accurate tot up of our stock both new and pre owned.
Our big shout out for the month was the acquisition by David Price of a consignment of powerful neodymium magnets to restore power to the regulator motors and these have sold well to avid motor repairers around the land, there tricky to post as the tend to stick to the inside of the post boxes so i have to b a bit coy with my packaging of the little blighters.
It will be our AGM in due course so i hope to see you all then along with a swathe of members, (love that word!)
