Club shop report January 2019
So we finally say goodby to 2018 and start off 2019 with the going, good to firm!.
Brexit has properly lost its way, but we are moving onwards,,,business as usual!
We had a strong month with a gross of £820.75, after deductions/commissions of £99.30, giving a net of £721.45.
Unusually, among the total sales we sold a total of 8 dvd's and 8 litres of water so that's a good sign that new folk are coming into the fold and supporting us well.
The Ally Pally Model engineering show was busy too with a turnover of £140, mostly water, dvds and small items but a busy time indeed.
The Loco sales have also gone up handsomely this month as well with 3 being snapped up by one particular buyer. Maurice reports ' all locos gone bar a handful of Mallards'.
Due any day now are a handful of loco wheels and a few extra spares from AC Models who keep finding Live steam spares in all sorts of places!
At Doncaster i will take possession of more brass chimneys, brass coal loads and A3 brass front steps from our Dorset supplier. I also intend to bring out the long awaited Loco care packs with the intent of shifting them all to new members/owners so don't ask for one will you, maybe the next batch!
The files are updated for you to scour in the reports tab as usual.
Nick
