Yes Richard. I dont think even I would be so abrupt. Marketing people are trained to 'listen first' and that's certainly what I would do but I do agree, we need to hear the 'inside story'.
Very welcome news. At least someone at Hornby is still enthusiastic about live steam!
Will be interesting to hear if he volunteers the inside story of Hornby Live Steam from Hornby's viewpoint.

A request to Adrian: May I ask you to avoid the phrase 'Hornby got it wrong' in his presence as presumably he is still employed by Hornby and sounds rather blunt and, indeed, unhelpful.
May I suggest 'Errors' or 'possible misjudgments occurred' as being less confrontational.
We should send a special welcome and invitation to him to attend the summer meeting. It might even be worth offering to pay his petrol if he were to give a short talk on his take on the "Hornby Live Steam Story".
It will be Philby and McLean next...
