I have recently come across a paint ideal for our loco chassis and bogie truck etc.
It is a Black Satin heat resistant paint designed for modern motorcycle engine cases. It is an enamel paint with a good build, self-flattening finish, and most important heat resistant to 180 deg. I have tried it out already and with good success on my Flying Scotsman. (You need to have a clean grease free surface to apply successfully)
I now paint all new single black chimneys with it!
I propose to sell it in small 15 ml quantities through the club shop @ £4 a touch with a quid to me for the effort.

Well it’s all go!!!! There in the shops!!!! Well,,, the one shop anyway!!!
As soon as the potlets arrive (from china) and I get it all packaged up!
Agree. Lets do it.
