I don't know if you are aware but Hornby are holding an open day at their 'new' home over the weekend of the 17th & 18th of August this year.
Margate and the visitors centre are one of the the things on my 'to do' list and tickets include viewing the One:One loco museum loco collection so, as it is my birthday on the 16th I have decided to treat myself to a visit.
I have spoken to Richard and he is up for it as well so I have booked tickets for the Sunday. We will travel down on the Saturday and stay at the Premier Inn at Herne Bay.
Is anyone else up for it?

Just a thought. If you are staying in Herne Bay. Its worth paying a visit to Whitstable.
Great Fish and Chips and Seaford by the harbour. The Oysters and shell fish superb and very affordable. If you remember I was talking about interesting developments along there at our last club Pizza meal.

been delighted to see the OOLSC layout up and running in his newly acquired "engine shed"
