Club shop report July 2020
Hi all, usually the summer months are a bit slow due to holidays etc but this year due to COVID restrictions, folk seem to have stayed put and spent a little more on their hobbies,, good news for us!!
Our total turnover for July was £1277.15 A loco sale (£570) and controller shipping costs (£177) were included so the actual shop takings were £530.15 ,,,,!! not too bad for the time of year!! After costs and paypal fees, A total of £1023.32 was transferred to the bank account.
We had a delivery of the new cylinder clamp tools via Maurice‘s contacts. (Cost around £185) These will go down a storm after the release of our new tutorial series. Shop retail will be £15.
Also the new “Rotary shaft timing adjuster” components have arrived and have started to sell. These are the answer to broken Hornby adjusters on the original timing shafts. Shop retail will be £18.50
We plan to start filming next month for the new series of tutorials, these will cover in depth operations and techniques. Chris Oakes will be the presenter this time to give Maurice due protection from Covid 19 (and a rest!!)
