As mentioned on the shirt thread I have been in negotiation with Kentish Embroidery re the possibility of a link from the OOLS shop to the Kentish Embroidery site for club members to be able to buy OOLS branded shirts/fleeces etc. directly at their prices with a small commission paid to the OOLS club.
Glyn has suggested the following
"On my shop (Kentish Embroidery) I can setup a private area, for just your members. It would require members to register an account, and inform me that they are part of your group. I will change their account to give them access. Prices here will reflect the price with your bit on top. I will decline members that try and order through the normal shop excluding yourself. Each month, I will look at what has been sold, as these will be unique products from us. I can keep track.
I suggest limiting this to single colours and a few products. This was it'll be easier for me to manage stock. All products here will be exempt from any discounts.
I am sure I can work on a percentage basis. on a slding scale. 15% - 25% for quantity, per month. so up to 10 orders 15%, over 10 orders per month 20% on those orders."
We now need to make a decision on whether or not to go ahead with this offer.

Yes. Great stuff. Go for it.
Sounds good! Another shop in the Mall!!
As we will need to tell members how it will work (registering with the Kentish site etc.) I envisage it being another link option from the shop page. Once we are ready we can notify members via the WiX shout out and also via Mailchimp.
As it’s not a shop related item ( only product I sell are in the club shop) it will need a ‘club clothing’ link adding somewhere on the site, maybe replace the Apple link as it ( the webpage) doesn’t seem a problem now on iOS
How about an email campaign to all registered with us to invite them to visit Kentish site and buy a shirt.
What is there to push?? The ‘old clobber’ if that’s what you mean doesn’t count as it’s been updated with the new spec clothing. Ebay is your friend.
Onwards and upwards!!
No - members pay Kentish embroidery's list price. The club will then be paid a commission equivalent to a minimum 15% discount on the sale in accordance with the sliding scale mentioned in the earlier post.
So the members pay Kentish embroidery's list price plus a 'bit'? if up to 10 members buy items in a month then 15% gets kicked back to us as a commission? More if more than 10.
That is a far better system than us buying the items speculatively and hoping to sell. I was quite out of pocket for a while when I bought the first batch of shirts and fleeces. nick we need to push these a bit.
I would just like to know how much that 'bit' is above their list price.

Nick has hit the nail on its head.
Seems straightforward to me, we the committee get discounts, via Chris orders,,, members do not, what they pay will be a bespoke undiscounted price with a bit added for us as a commission.
Their undiscounted price will offset our discount so the supplier is not out of pocket.
That’s how I read it anyway.
I vote Yes.
Do we have any idea as to the prices for these items?.
The club discount (commission) price structure will be:-
Up to 10 items 15%
Between 10 & 20 items 20% (Just on those over 10)
Over 20 items 25% (Just on those over 20)
No other discounts will be available for use on these items.
Kentish Embroidery will monitor the sales and pay the club the discount (commission) amounts on a monthly basis. They have to do this anyway, but ours will be bespoke products, and therefore easier to track
Once we have reached a decision on the link if we do this then to keep thing simple we will need to agree on a limited number of items and colours for the 'bespoke' section of their site. We also need to agree a different version of the badge (not Roadshow) for use for members.
The other discounts that they make available from time to time like the 25% we have just used for Roadshow team orders and the Roadshow badge will be restricted to orders placed by me on behalf of the club.
Very good. I vote yes.
I need clarification on the pricing structure. If satisfactory. then I vote yes/
No brainer. Yes. But please confirm just what is meant when Glyn says " Prices here will reflect the price with your bit on top." but then talks about discounts. Does the customer get this discount or is this our commission?
Does "on top" mean the customer pays more than list price in order to give us a commission?
