Hi, Just had an e mail from Rebecca James, who has talked to Nick about having Christmas supper after the AGM at Peterborough.
The Fox and Hounds at Alwalton are offering a Christmas menu of three courses for £22.
I think it an excellent idea, are we agreed?

As discussed at the Midland Model Engineering Exhibition, the club will pick up the cost of the dinner, but not the drink, that will be down to individuals. As I have paid the deposit, I will pay the remainder of the bill and claim it back.

Unfortunately the Fox and Hounds is already fully booked. I have therefore booked the Harvester at Alwarton for 12 people at 19:15 on the 7th. I have had to pay a deposit for the Christmas menu, so please confirm or otherwise your attendance.

I'd like to propose that the treasury pick up the bill for this Christmas occasion since we are cash rich, relatively speaking. I think a reward is in order for the work we've done over the last year.

The menu choices are varied 3-4 on each course so it’s quite nice. A Chef and Brewer establishment!
