I have just spoken to them too. They have a quality 'issue' that they expect will sort for July delivery but are sure we can have a prototype for July 3. Just waiting to get that confirmed.

When I asked the question it was purely for my own benefit as in my case the box will never be used and just be put in the loft. I definitely don't think we should offer it as an option to all so I suggest that we limit this option to any committee members who might feel the same way. I agree with Nick about the future value and if the plan is to buy with an eye on resale value then they will buy with a box anyway. . And as far as less work goes . . . should I ever change my mind there would be the possibility of a bit of extra cash for the club by selling me a box then . . at a premium price of course . . . . :)
